Constellation Event home is one of the newest large event homes on the Outer Banks and wow, is it popular. Most couples choose to rent a tent on the lawn to host their reception and Kelsey and Tait did just that for their gorgeous wedding in September. Kelsey and Tait fell in love with Constellation the minute they toured and they knew it was the right place for their wedding celebrations. We helped them figure out how to invite their guests to stay in the house and then we dove into all aspects of planning. Kerri had a fantastic planning weekend with Kelsey, Tait and their families attending a tasting at Steamers, laying out the wedding day at the house and meeting with other vendors.
Kelsey and her Mom have a keen sense of design so they really wanted to do the florals and décor themselves. This is achievable if you are highly organized and Kelsey was just that – a girl after our own heart, she had her own binder of décor (anyone who knows us knows we show up to every event with our signature white binder with all of the details). Finding some key vendors like Ocean Atlantic and I Do OBX Weddings & Events to help execute where needed, our team was able to do the rest and set out all of Kelsey’s gorgeous décor. Kerri enjoyed helping Kelsey bring her vision to life: “I truly believe that everything is figureoutable – with creativity and planning, we can bring your design to light. And we will be honest with you about when you need to hire someone to execute what you need and when you may be able to do it yourself.” Impeccable catering by Steamers and desserts from Johanna’s finished off the top notch event. We are so happy it turned out so gorgeously!
